Linda O’Rourke is a longtime customer at PAUL’S PHOTO and student at Creative Photo Academy. She is a very demanding and quality conscious photographer who expects the best from herself and her gear. For years she has loved the quality, but struggled with the size and weight of her Canon 5D-IV kit. She recently upgraded top the Canon R5 and the size and performance has rekindled her passion for making stunning photos.

“Hello! I’m Linda O’Rourke, a natural light portrait and lifestyle photographer. I love photographing my own family, as well as everyone else’s families! I’ve always been a Canon shooter and when the new mirrorless R5 was announced, I knew that it would be my next camera. From the first time I used it, I can honestly say that it was a game changer for me.

Not only is it light and compact in comparison to my other cameras, I’ve found that it’s so easy to travel with and even easier to use. I recently traveled to Maryland to meet (and of course photograph) my first grandchild. This camera allowed me the flexibility of traveling without my bulky camera bag, and that in itself was amazing!

But, there are so many other game changing features that I have fallen in love with as well. For example, the shutter is quieter than ever before, to the point that I was able to photograph a sleeping baby without the fear of waking him, and since I like to shoot in natural light, I’m even more happy with my results in low light conditions.

I love how sharp and crisp my images are and the color is amazing! Of course, the touchscreen, fast shutter response, and super lightweight lenses are cool, but most importantly, the picture quality is more amazing than that of any other camera I have ever owned.
