 October 21-24, 2010

You are invited to experience the Paul’s Photo Yosemite Photo Adventure. Wonderful

SOLD OUT - Weston-Carmel Figure Workshop

This Class is Sold Out

June 24-27, 2010

You are invited to experience the Weston-Carmel Figure Workshop. Join Mark Comon from Paul’s Photo and Kim Weston (grandson of Edward Weston) for two full days of photography capturing artistic nudes on Wildcat Hill (the famous Weston family property in Carmel). The Wildcat estate allows us to shoot in the forest, garden, house or studio using the stunning natural light of spring on the California coast. We’re hoping for the fog and soft light Edward Weston made famous!

Photographers will be split into teams of three or four… shooting, lighting and loading with one professional model (we’ve ordered male and female models). Our low model-to-shooter ratio means you’ll have more-than-enough time to shoot creatively, learn lighting and direct the posing. Models and locations will be rotated hourly so you can experience all of the subjects and locations. Participants will learn lighting, posing, shooting and “handling” techniques from a real pro… plus Mark will be on hand to help!

Our last evening features a special dinner at the Weston home with print viewing and stimulating discussion. Spouses and guests are welcome to join us for the dinner. This is not a weekend for every photographer, but if you have ever wanted to shoot nudes in the “Weston Style” you will love the opportunity!
