Industry insiders will see first-hand how-to run Photo Adventures. Beginning snap-shooters will gain insights into how their camera sees and captures light. Mark’s proven teaching techniques will make you comfortable shooting difficult subjects under adverse conditions. You are invited to experience the famous Paul’s Photo Page Slot Canyons Photo Adventure. Wonderful scenery, fantastic locations and good fellowship make for a truly memorable photographic experience. Join Mark Comon and the best local guides from Page on a magical photographic expedition. Oct 9-11 Tuba City. The Hopi Reservation offers unique photo opportunities. Enjoy the stunning scenery and amazing moonrise over Blue Canyon. Capture the “out of this world” look of Coal Canyon and it’s remarkable monuments… and explore the Hopi lore
Oct 12-13 Slot Canyons. Two days of shooting the magic and wonder of folded sandstone. Photograph Antelope Canyon and Canyon X slot canyons under the ideal light. Walk into the slots and get lost in your imagination of the shapes and forms.
Oct 14-15 Page Scenics. The hoodoos, rim-rocks and other magic locations in and around Page! Two sunset and two sunrises plus some mid-day shooting of truly “other worldly” locationsPlans include White Castles, Dead Horse Point, Paria Overlook & Bridger Point.

Capture 300 years of Cajun, Creole and French culture, architecture and cuisine with the crew from Paul’s Photo and your friends from Leica. Enjoy the wild good times of New Orleans on our fun-filled Adventure, learn the history and make amazing photographs with an “insider’s eye” to the Bayou!
Travel, street and low light photography in New Orleans means the Leica M9 is the ideal camera. Learn to use the Leica while mastering exposure, light and composition. Each day provides an opportunity to shoot new subjects and “test drive” a Leica camera. Not interested in experiencing the Leica, no problem… bring your camera, learn and explore. Instruction will concentrate on photographer’s vision, camera control and black & white digital photography.

Experience the desolate beauty of winter in Death Valley with Mark Comon. Learn to produce great scenic images by practicing the rules of exposure, creative composition, and lens selection. Each day provides a balance of photo instruction, time for creativity and freedom to relax and explore a scenic wonder of the world.
Death Valley is a contrast of harsh reality, natural beauty and extreme challenges. Dry lake beds, steep canyons and geologic upheaval provide the subject. Early morning and late afternoon sun provide the light of creativity. Our staff provides the knowledge and inspiration for you to succeed. Paul’s has been taking students to Death Valley every year since 1993. Join us for a great experience.
