Eastern Sierra

November 13-16, 2008

You are invited to experience the Eastern Sierra Photo Adventure.  Dramatic weather, wonderful scenery, fantastic locations, and good friends make for a grand weekend.  Mark Comon from Paul’s Photo has planned four days filled with landscape and scenic photography.  Learn to produce great scenic images by expanding your artistic vision and imagination and applying the rules of exposure and composition.  Great images and good times will be had by all.  Each day provides a balance of photo opportunities, and free time.

The Eastern Sierra is a location of vast contrast: towering granite peaks with rushing waters and a desert valley with great historical importance and photographic interest.  Witness the golden light of sunrise on the Minarets and sunset on Mono Lake.  Shoot the drama of the early snows whistling thru Bodie.  Capture the aspen glow as the fall colors explode in the Sierra canyons.  Great photographs are at every turn!

Proposed Locations.

Lee Vining Canyon and June Lake Loop

Mono Lake

Bodie Ghost Town

 Yosemite, High Country Photo Adventure

July 24-27, 2008

You are invited to experience the wonder and grandeur of the “other” Yosemite. The Yosemite high country is a wonderful land of high-alpine lakes, lush meadows, polished granite and colorful wild flowers. Mark Comon from Paul’s Photo has planned amazing days filled with landscape and scenic photography. Learn to produce great scenic images by expanding your artistic vision and imagination and applying the rules of exposure and composition. Great images and good times will be had by all.

The Adventure features three and a half full shooting days above 10,000 feet! Tuolumne Meadows, Tenaya Lake and the Tioga Tarns in the Yosemite High Country boast pristine waters and gorgeous scenery. Two and a half days of walking and shooting will take you to some of Nature’s grandest locations.
