Digital photo prints

Our photo lab is equipped with the finest photo finishing equipment and we print your pictures on high quality photo paper. On top of this, our technicians will make sure that every photo print turns out just the way you want it by adjusting the color, the brightness and even cropping them if necessary. Come in with your memory device and we will transform your memories into fabulous photos.


Self-service photo kiosk

If you prefer the convenience of our self-service photo kiosks, come and visit our store where we have digital photo kiosks set up for your convenience. Want to add a creative touch to your pictures, you can easily fix red-eyes, crop and add effects to your pictures before printing them on high quality photo paper.

 

Digital device drop-box

Do you have a busy schedule? Drop off your memory device in our digital device drop-box and we'll have your pictures ready for you in no time. Memory devices deposited in our drop-box will be processed with the same quality care and diligence as always.

 

Film processing

We are well equipped to serve customers that prefer traditional film. Our photo lab is equipped with the finest photo finishing equipment and we print your pictures on high quality photo paper. On top of this, our technicians will make sure that every photo print turns out just the way you want it. Come in with your films and we will transform your memories into fabulous photos.

Film processing drop-box

Do you have a busy schedule? Drop off your film in our film drop-box and we'll have your pictures ready for you in no time. Films deposited in our drop-box will be processed with the same quality care and diligence as always.

 

Slide film processing

Our lab is equipped with all the necessary equipment to help you save and share your most precious memories. Here is a list of the types of slides that we can print:

Prints from slides (Type R prints)
Are you seeking a better format to share your pictures? We can quickly and easily print your slide collection on quality photo paper thanks to Type R printing.
 
Prints from slides (Ilfochrome/CibaCopy prints)
Are you seeking a better format to share your pictures? We can quickly and easily print your slide collection on quality photo paper thanks to Ilfochrome printing. We can also handle other formats of transparencies.
 
Darkroom printing
Do you prefer the look and feel of darkroom-exposed photographs to a photo lab print? We're well equipped to meet your needs. Our in-house technicians will take all the steps necessary to ensure that your works of art will turn out just as you want it. Here are some of the ways that we can help:

Photos, stories and cartoons must be submitted no later then Thursday, August 13, 2009.

 

Story guidelines

Submissions must be on disk or emailed. Stories may be real, imaginary or confabulated. Preference will be given to stories relating to the South Bay. Stories should be no more than 2,000 words. Shorter is okay.

Cartoon guidelines

Submissions must be copies or on disk. Please no originals and no larger than 8-inch x 10-inch. Any subject matter is welcome, but preference will be given to cartoons relating to the South Bay.

 

Email cartoons to easyreader@easyreader.info. Maximum file size – 2 megabytes

Photo guidelines

Photos must have been taken in the South Bay between September 2008 and August 2009. We are looking for photos that capture the unique place, person or thing found in one of the best places to live on the planet.

 

All photos must have name and address, when and where photo shot, type of camera and name of shot. Limit of 4 entries per photographer.

 

Photos should be emailed to: contest@paulsphoto.com.

 

Photo file format: lastname-title-jpg. Not larger than one megabyte.

(If you are a winner we will contact you for a higher-resolution version)

 

Photos on disk may also be mailed or brought to

No files, discs or print copies will be returned.

Winning entries will be printed in Easy Reader’s 39th Annual Anniversary issue on Thursday, August 27.

 

Writers, cartoonists and photographers who submit entries to Easy Reader’s 2009 contest authorize Easy Reader and its affiliate’s limited rights for use of the submissions for print and web. Writers, cartoonists and photographers retain ownership rights of submissions.
